Hello to everyone who somehow ended up on or remained in my little corner of the internet! Looking at my last post on this blog, I can’t believe that it’s already been 8 yrs since my last post.
Much like everyone out there, the past few years have really been quite the roller coaster ride. After returning to California, not only did I have to bunker down and start busting my ass to get rid of my student loans (>$100,000), but I also happened to be in an industry that was in high demand during the pandemic. For those that don’t know, I’m an Occupational Therapist, and was working as a traveling therapist in Acute Care hospitals (primarily in the ICU) over the past few years. Unfortunately, none of these things were conducive to keeping up with this blog.

Fortunately, things have calmed down over the past few months and I’ve been lucky enough to take another sabbatical, this time to Southeast Asia. As I continue to decompress, and get life/priorities in order, I thought what better time than now to get back and maybe revive this blog. A lot has changed for the past few years, but I’m hoping that I can take this opportunity to not only document my travels, but also provide some value/entertainment to my readers.
