Hotel Review: Outrigger Aina Nalu, Maui (Hawaii)

“My new home away from home”
From the wonderful staff, to the awesome facilities, and of course its great location (a few short blocks from the heart of downtown Lahaina), the Aina Nalu has really done an amazing job in making sure their guests feel right at home.

Their attention to detail really sets them apart and makes them stand out against many of the places that I’ve stayed at during my travels (all modern fixtures and appliances, including washer+dryer). Having a full kitchen also allowed us to save some money preparing a few meals, as it can get a bit pricey eating out all the time in Maui.

IMG_0033aAlso have to mention how much my family enjoyed staying in the heart of Lahaina, as you have so many choices to go shopping, access to multiples luau’s, and bars/restaurants all within walking distance. The highlights of our trip were definitely watching Ulalena, driving the ‘Road to Hana’ and finishing off the week at the Old Lahaina Luau!

Pros: Great staff, modern rooms, great location, 2 pool areas, and for some reason I really liked the showers

Cons: No wifi in the rooms, $15/day for parking was a bit steep (but I must say, it was extremely convenient being able to park right behind our 1st fl room as we were able to carry all our shopping/grocery bags into our room within seconds)

Would highly recommend staying at the Outrigger Aina Nalu!
