Here’s my quick recommendation for anyone looking to munch on a juicy, tasty burger while traveling in Medellin.
Especially during long-term travels, you may find yourself wanting a quick taste of home. Chef Burger is definitely as a good a place as any that I’ve been to in Colombia to sate that specific craving.
Though the size of the burger may not be quite up to par when compared to their North American versions (take into account that I don’t necessarily view that as a bad thing considering how American portion sizes tend to make my waist size run rampant), the flavors and variety of burgers are what will definitely have you coming back for more.
All the ingredients had a very crisp freshness, and the meat was cooked exactly to order. I highly recommend the side salad as a substitution for the fries, as the house dressing was quite delicious, and fresh greens while dining out in Medellin can be occasionally hard to come by.
The best way for me to describe my experience is that it’s one of those places where you look across at the plate sitting in front of your friends and think “Damn, gotta come back and try that one next time”!!
Great company + delicious food in a beautiful city like Medellin = good times!
It’s quite a bold statement to make when a restaurant’s slogan is “the Best Burger in Town,” but during my month of dining in Medellin, I can honestly say that I had difficulty finding any other restaurant that could prove otherwise!
*I also want to quickly note that each time i went to the Laureles location, I found that the service provided was absolutely exceptional! The workers were always quick, helpful, and very friendly!
