Although the majority of articles on my blog revolve around various reviews, tonight I just wanted to give props to the man upstairs for continuing to make an impact in my life, and for reminding me of who I am to Him, and in Him. Having lived in New York City for the past 9.5 yrs, I’ve come to realize that this city makes it quite easy for your life to get extremely cluttered. I spend so much of my days developing the creative, professional, and physical aspects of my life that the development of my soul and my relationship with Christ occasionally gets lost amidst the hustle. On this Easter Sunday, first and foremost, I thank God for His Grace that was shown on the Cross, and I also say thanks to Him for using those at Hillsong as a reminder to keep focus on what really matters most.
The following vid wasn’t filmed at the NYC service, but wanted to share anyways. Though music has always been a powerful medium to me, it’s not everyday that you find a song whose lyrics are in tune with your soul. 🙂
Hillsong United: Oceans
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
I will call upon Your name
Keep my eyes above the waves
My soul will rest in Your embrace
I am Yours and You are mine
*I also want to give a quick shout out to pastor Carl Lentz, the entire pastoral staff, worship leaders, and volunteers for allowing God to do His awesome work through you!

Just saw the CNN piece on your church and pastor this past weekend at the airport. Very cool.
